About Changing Generations

A family for women who are ready for a clean, fresh start.

Twenty years ago I beat the fight with addiction. Now I want the women who come here to see how beautiful and amazing they are.

Nancy Alvarado, founder of Changing Generations
Nancy AlvaradoFounder · 20 years clean and sober

My name is Nancy Alvarado. I'm a 42-year-old single mom who has been clean and sober for the last 20 years. Here at Changing Generations, our mission is to build a family for women who have battled addiction, so they can lay a new foundation for life.

In the last five years I've run two businesses and watched clients change their lives. God has led me to change women's lives in a bigger, stronger way. My mission is to help women get motivated and back on their feet: a season of living with other women, and then on to whatever God has next for them.

We provide a life coach, information on local churches, AA and NA meeting times and locations, and hands-on help finding and landing a job. Our goal is to help these women love themselves and grow into the women they truly are, drug and alcohol free.

I graduated from college, I own a remodeling company, and I flip houses for investors on the side. I will be present and committed to helping these women with their needs and their dreams. I look forward to being part of your journey as you build a foundation for your family that changes generations to come.

God bless. I can't wait to meet you. — Nancy

Meet Dominie

My name is Dominie. I've been blessed to be married for the past 21 years and I'm the proud mother of four wonderful children. My faith in God is the foundation of my life, and Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I love attending church and serving in the children's ministry, where I have a passion for helping, encouraging, and pouring into the lives of others.

I have a college education and experience in customer service, driving a school bus, medical billing and coding, and project management. Through those experiences I've developed strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Above all, I have a heart for serving others and making a positive difference wherever God leads me.

My desire is to keep growing my faith, use the gifts God has given me, and let Him work through me to bless, encourage, and help others. I strive to live every day with love, compassion, humility, and a willingness to serve, giving God all the glory for the opportunities He has placed before me.
